New York City Surprise Marriage Proposal Engagement - Kimberly Hotel

New York City is the city that never sleeps. That’s why many people come to this great city to enjoy the nightlife. Even when you’re from the area, you want to make sure that the city you love is incorporated in your special moments. Every year, people want to photograph the majestic beauty of NYC. When you’re on a rooftop, you want to be embraced in the concrete jungle. That’s what Raymond had in mind, to incorporate the feel of NYC in the surprise engagement proposal he had planned, where he asked his beautiful girlfriend, now fiance Meredith, her hand in marriage!

The Kimberly Hotel was a great choice with their balcony overlooking the many skyscrapers of NYC. Her parents actually were hidden away, and they laid down the scene! Literally! They put the floral petals down, placed the champagne for the toast, and the bouquet to be given after. Who doesn’t want to be proposed to on a New York City rooftop? It was just magical and I wish all the very best to the young couple starting their journey. I love proposals, capturing them and sharing them is what I love to do. Helping capture these moments so my couples can relive it time and again is priceless. I’m humbled to be a part of it!

Here are some more teasers from Alena and Matt's surprise proposal!!! These two Washington DC residents were such a pleasure to photograph in Central Park New York by Gapstow bridge...(known by many as the Home Alone Bridge). I LOVE capturing New York City wedding proposal photography and this was definitely one of the best!!! More and more couples are booking me to capture the proposal and the engagement session to follow and I am always honored to do so. Being there from the beginning really is a remarkable experience. Seeing Alena's surprised face, hearing her joyous laugh, and watching Matt get down on one knee, well we can't help but sigh through it all. What a romantic day! Enjoy these fave photos of A & M! New York Wedding Photographer - Engagement Proposal at The Top of the Rock | Lisa & Courtney

We can't wait to share more photos from Lisa and Courtney's surprise proposal! A great New York Wedding Photographer Engagement Proposal held at the Top of the Rock in Rockefeller Center! To be 70 floors on top of the world with such great views, it was definitely a moment to remember. With Courtney and I planning to have him ask Matt to "take a photo of them"…the iPhone was actually set to record and that was our cue to capture him asking his one true love to be his wife! A very surprised Lisa couldn't believe it! Actually, she told us that her first thought before she knew what was happening (after he asked Matt to take a photo of them) was "why did he decide to tie his shoe laces now?"!!! If I were in her shoes, my upbringing would have kicked in too…c'mon…why hold up the person that's going to take a photo of us?! :-)…Well needless to say it was a great plan and we captured it all.
