These two lovely couple from DC had the time of their lives in New York! Little did she know that a surprise marriage proposal was planned. The Groom contacted me and we worked out the details of where I will be, what he envisioned for the photos, and what to expect after. Gapstow Bridge in Central Park is a great NYC surprise proposal location, and it just works with the beautiful iconic backdrop.

Here are some more teasers from Alena and Matt's surprise proposal!!! These two Washington DC residents were such a pleasure to photograph in Central Park New York by Gapstow bridge...(known by many as the Home Alone Bridge). I LOVE capturing New York City wedding proposal photography and this was definitely one of the best!!! More and more couples are booking me to capture the proposal and the engagement session to follow and I am always honored to do so. Being there from the beginning really is a remarkable experience. Seeing Alena's surprised face, hearing her joyous laugh, and watching Matt get down on one knee, well we can't help but sigh through it all. What a romantic day! Enjoy these fave photos of A & M! NYC Engagement Photography Session - Conservatory Garden in Central Park

Christine and Adam are two VERY fun-loving couple with style to boot! They met online on www.Match.com, fell in-love and had their engagement on Valentine's day and now are planning a spring wedding upstate filled with a lot of DIY crafts. When you meet Christine and Adam you definitely see that they are stylish and they brought it to the engagement session to my delight! We headed to the Coservatory Garden in the upper east side in Manhattan. They love this park, which is why it was perfect for their session. They live in Harlem and often stop by to relax and enjoy the tranquil beauty of the Conservatory. When it comes to details like ring shots and shoes, I really loved photographing Christine's princess cut engagement ring and their Loubotin and Jordan shoes! Contrast to her beautiful dress and Adam's urban style, it really worked and they definitely were able to show their personality. I am very honored to have photographed these two amazing individuals and I know their future will be full of love and adventure! 8/28/12 UPDATE: Christine and Adam's engagement session has been published on Engagement 101 Magazine!!!
