I'm always honored to photograph the New York Police & Fire Widows' & Children's Benefit Fund events, and Answer the Call is dear to many hearts. Held at Waldorf Astoria before they underwent renovations, it was a memorable event with Mark Messier of the New York Rangers and Rusty Staub of the New York Mets who founded the non-profit organization. Along with the many people who have Answered the Call, their annual gala event has raised funds to help the children, wives, husbands of fallen police officers and firemen/women who lost their lives while helping New York.

New York South Street Seaport & Dumbo Pre-Wedding Engagement Photos
Today was 60 degrees...and it's only the first week and a half of January! Brings me back to warmer engagement session pre-wedding photos in South Street Seaport and Dumbo locations. Two of my favorite locations! With Audrey and Bart's engagement pre-wedding photography session, we headed first to South Street Seaport, which has been more alive with all the renovations after Hurricane Sandy and many more businesses opening, including some great art exhibits and of course restaurants and retail stores. I really enjoyed how our lovely bride and groom coordinated what they wore. These two red-heads really rocked their session! We wanted to take advantage of all the different areas of South Street Seaport and the dock area. Once we headed to DUMBO, they opted for a more casual feel as we strolled through Jane's Carousel and walked around Brooklyn Bridge. Such breath taking views by the East River looking at the NYC skyline. I love New York City! Central Park Family Photos by Angelica Criscuolo Photography
A cold but fun New York family photos in Central Park. The Yedlowski family from Rhode Island wanted memories of their visit to NYC and what better way to photograph them but in Central Park. We first stopped by Bethesda Terrace so the kids can play with the snow, addition to getting classic photography by the terrace arches. We then walked through Bethesda Terrace to walk down Literary Walk and Amphitheater. New York City has so much beautiful areas to take photos, even in the coldest of days. Enjoy the rest of the winter everyone!

NYC Wedding Surprise Proposal in Central Park - Gapstow Bridge
These two lovely couple from DC had the time of their lives in New York! Little did she know that a surprise marriage proposal was planned. The Groom contacted me and we worked out the details of where I will be, what he envisioned for the photos, and what to expect after. Gapstow Bridge in Central Park is a great NYC surprise proposal location, and it just works with the beautiful iconic backdrop.

Here are some more teasers from Alena and Matt's surprise proposal!!! These two Washington DC residents were such a pleasure to photograph in Central Park New York by Gapstow bridge...(known by many as the Home Alone Bridge). I LOVE capturing New York City wedding proposal photography and this was definitely one of the best!!! More and more couples are booking me to capture the proposal and the engagement session to follow and I am always honored to do so. Being there from the beginning really is a remarkable experience. Seeing Alena's surprised face, hearing her joyous laugh, and watching Matt get down on one knee, well we can't help but sigh through it all. What a romantic day! Enjoy these fave photos of A & M!
