It's spring time! Spring means flowers blooming, but also rain. Although, even with the rainy weather, it didn't dampen Lindsey and Jonny's NYC Brooklyn engagement photography session. When you've found "The One," it's always sunny and warm all year round! The two braved out the rain and as we walked around Brooklyn, you just can't help but breath in love, look at the beautiful view of New York City, and just feel happy. Brooklyn NYC Wedding Photography | Queens, NY - Villa Russo | Guadalupe & Roy

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Plummer! A beautiful NYC wedding photography full of memories held at the Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn, New York. With their closest family and friends witnessing their special day, Guadalupe and Roy shared their vows and said their "I Do's." The reception took place in Villa Russo in Queens, NY and everyone got up to dance and sway and just celebrate with the newly weds. It was such an honor to be a part of their beginning and looking forward to sharing more in the future! The couple were off to Costa Rica after the wedding and enjoyed their honeymoon pursuing more adventures.

Here's a must know, all the suits the groom and the groomsmen wore were custom made by the bride's step-father! He's an excellent taylor! The men just looked amazing in their suits.

NJ Wedding Photography | The Villa at Mountain Lakes

Happy New Year everyone!!! Let's start out the year by looking back to the fabulous NJ Wedding Photography of Jennifer and Brandon! Such a gorgeous fall day and the weather was just perfect. The bridal party got ready at The Hilton in Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ. When I got to the bridal suite, the ladies were getting ready, laughing, smiling and having a great time. Jennifer just finished her hair and getting her makeup done. Great time to get detail shots of her Mori Lee lace dress (GORGEOUS!!!) as well as the bridesmaid's floor-length red strapless dresses. The contrast with the bouquets was amazing. Red, gold...just perfect! By the way, when I saw Jennifer's shoes I was just amazed since they were perfect! The men were taking their time getting ready and Brandon just looked dashing in his tux and white bow-tie. The men headed down to the gazebo to escort Brandon for the first look. I escorted the ladies down and I was nervous!!! One of the best moments, I think, is the first look. Seeing Brandon's reaction to Jennifer being dressed up in her beautiful beaded lace dress, he hair in an up-do and all in all looking like a classic beauty. These two are truly a lucky couple. After a few bridal party portraits by a lake by the church in Pompton Lakes, NJ, we were off the Saint Mary's church for the ceremony. Just a beautiful ceremony and reminds me time and time again why I love shooting weddings. As the bride and groom walk out, they were greeted with bubbles in the air blown by the wedding guest.

As the guests and bridal party head to The Villa in Mountain Lakes New Jersey,  everyone was treated to the bride and groom dancing a choreographed dance! "Feels Like Home" by Chantal Krevlazuk was Jennifer and Brandon's first dance song, and looking at them you can definitely feel that they were one with a bright future ahead of them. Everyone danced the night away with a few cigars outdoors for the men, cake for everyone, and love and laughter just everywhere.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Macaluso!!! I am so very happy for you and happy Angelica Criscuolo Photography was part of it all! As part of Jennifer and Brandon's wedding package, they are enjoying their high resolution images by viewing them on a complimentary iPad! To wrap this up and send it in time for Christmas and before I took time off for the holidays definitely made me feel like Santa. Having amazing brides and groom like Jennifer and Brandon and ensuring they, and all our couples, receive spectacular images that capture all the moments that occurs during a wedding day and ensuring our couples become an integral part of the Angelica Criscuolo Photography family is why we were voted by The Knot Best of Weddings 2013...Thank you!

NYC Wedding Photographer|Clark & Richard’s Wedding in Staten Island

I'm long overdue for a post! Here's a few sneak peak from Clark & Richard's NYC wedding in Staten Island New York! They were married at Christ Church New Brighton Episcopal, which is a beatiful church both inside and out and a perfect location for this fall wedding. The attendees came from overseas and out of state, which shows how much Clark and Richard are loved by their family and friends. One of the best part of the wedding was when Clark and Richard's precious K9 companion ran up the aisle to deliver the rings. I can truly say this was one of the best same-sex marriage I've witnessed! After the ceremony, everyone headed to Rick's Cafe located on 695 Bay Street in Staten Island. I personally LOVE going to this restaurant, which is across from my husband's physical therapy office (score!) and conveniently located on Bay Street with amazing food and friendly and helpful owners. Since the wedding was a small intimate gathering of approximately one hundred, this restaurant was the perfect setting. The food was amazing and let's just say we saw many grab seconds :-).

All in all, a great day to shoot a loving couple with their closest family and friends and I'm very happy to have been a part of it all. Thank you Clark and Richard! Here's to a lifetime of happiness!

How exciting! Today, we have many things to be thankful for including this great feature on Merci New York! Tina and Matt's July Summer wedding is featured in Real NYC Weddings Photography on Merci New York. Just a throw back to such a wonderful and fun wedding with many DIY including the bride's customized dress created by her bridesmaid Nam from Nammade, and just remembering the groom serenading his new bride was just too memorable. If you have never been to Chelsea Pier's Pier 60 Sunset Terrace, definitely check it out. The sunset was amazing to look at and the colors in the background was such an amazing backdrop to photograph. NY Wedding Photographer & NYC Central Park Engagement Photography - Jennifer & Brandon

Here's a sneak peak of Jennifer and Brandon's NYC Engagement Photography session! A Fall/Autumn wedding at The Villa in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey is just what I'm itching for and from what the bride and groom has described of their wedding details, I'm really looking forward to their wedding! Prior to their wedding, we set off for Central Park to take their engagement pictures. With the backdrop and setting, there were just so many engagement photo ideas to choose from! We started at Bethesda Fountain and took advantage of the early morning photography session. We walked to Bow Bridge, then circled around the lake and back to Bethesda Fountain. Such a fun, loving, and made-for-each-other couple and I cannot wait to photograph their New Jersey Wedding in November 2012

New Jersey & NY Wedding Photographer - Royce Brook Golf Club

Congratulations Vanessa and Jermaine! Mr. and Mrs. Codd were married a month ago today at the Royce Brook Golf Club in New Jersey! The day was beautiful and everyone looked amazing. This NY wedding photographer had an easy time photographing the event since everyone was just ecstatic for the love birds and ever so helpful. Vanessa just glowed and Jermaine looked dashing in his suit! As you can see from the wedding photographs, there were also many DIY items and literally eye candy (yummy candy bar!) everywhere! Vanessa & Jermaine's NJ Wedding Teasers!

I'm very excited to share these wedding photography teasers from Vanessa and Jermaine's wedding!!! These two Staten Island, NY love birds had a beautiful ceremony at the Royce Brook Golf Club in New Jersey. Let me just say Vanessa is one cool, calm and collected bride! Nothing frazzled her and she looked amazing! Jermaine was very GQ and I know he enjoyed modeling for me. T&M's NYC Sunset Wedding in Chelsea

Nothing like a NYC summer wedding to photograph to show how much love is in the air. He's from Canada, she's from New York, and together they are the sweetest couple you can meet. With the threat of rainstorms all week, Tina & Matt's wedding was nothing but sunshine...well a lot of it. However, you couldn't tell it was about 90 degrees outside with the way this bridal party carried on. With a bottle of water in each of their hand we set off for Central Park after a touching first look at the Park Central Hotel in Manhattan, New York City. The hotel was busy and packed with tourists, but I found a section that was more calm and had the groom stand there and wait for his bride to come up the stairs. Tina looked amazing in her custom made gown created by one of her bridesmaids Namyoung Park (Nammade). Every detail is very much like the bride's personality and it was no wonder Matt had the reaction he did when he first saw his bride in her gown. After a touching moment, we were off to the Park. I figured start the session inside a tunnel to wean the party towards more sun later on. After this scene, headed to Bethesda Fountain and cooled off underneath the gorgeous archways and ceilings by the fountain. We ended the session at The Mall...However, we lost two groomsmen on the way out of the park, so the ladies decided to get a quick picture by John Lennon's "IMAGINE" tribute. All in all it was a fun photography session, and an even more fun reception! One highlight of the night was the groom serenading his beautiful bride. Yes, he sings and plays the guitar and I can attest to the fact that every woman in the room swooned whether they were already married or not. It was amazing to hear and see and I was very happy to capture it all. Even more amazing was the sunset. The reception took place at the Sunset Terrace in Chelsea Piers and it was definitely a sunset to behold. The backdrop looked amazing and this photographer took advantage of the gorgeous colors. NYC Wedding Photography Cab Themed Midtown Loft

Recently I was asked to come and take detail shots for KasalNY and Ivie Joy Flowers + Events. I was so happy to be asked since every time these two amazing women work together, I know I am in for a treat! Plenty of eye candy to go around, from the tables, to the hanging globe filled with flowers, and so much more. The centerpiece was the escort table lined with tiny taxi cabs with tags of people's names and their seating area. Everyone LOVED the concept and I was loving clicking away. The stationary was done by Kalijo Works Inc. and this NYC Wedding took place at Midtown Loft & Terrace and as you can see from the photography it was just a magical event. V + C's surprise proposal - New York, Belvedere Castle

Previously I shared photos from V + C's engagement party, which I couldn't help but share quickly since there were so many eye candy that I know many couples will find useful! Now, here's a peak of the proposal! V +C knew they wanted to get married, but V wanted to surprise C with a proper proposal she will always remember! The theme of the proposal: "Past, Present, Future" and it was a journey into the couple's life together. WIthout C knowing, V planned a brunch with a few family and friends and mentioned that they should stop by the Paris Theater and there C received an envelope with "For Then" written on the front. Then off to the brunch spot representing the here and now and C received an envelope with "For Now" written on the envelope. Pedicabs waited for us outside the restaurant and took us to a ride towards Belvedere Castle! One of the drivers handed C another card with "Forever" on the envelope. After reading her final letter, they walked up to Belvedere Castle and there V asked C to marry her! The ring given to C is actually made by a French designer and during the engagement party is when the lovely couple exchanged rings. Congratulations V + C!!! Here's to a lifetime of happiness!

NYC Engagement Photography Session - Conservatory Garden in Central Park

Christine and Adam are two VERY fun-loving couple with style to boot! They met online on www.Match.com, fell in-love and had their engagement on Valentine's day and now are planning a spring wedding upstate filled with a lot of DIY crafts. When you meet Christine and Adam you definitely see that they are stylish and they brought it to the engagement session to my delight! We headed to the Coservatory Garden in the upper east side in Manhattan. They love this park, which is why it was perfect for their session. They live in Harlem and often stop by to relax and enjoy the tranquil beauty of the Conservatory. When it comes to details like ring shots and shoes, I really loved photographing Christine's princess cut engagement ring and their Loubotin and Jordan shoes! Contrast to her beautiful dress and Adam's urban style, it really worked and they definitely were able to show their personality. I am very honored to have photographed these two amazing individuals and I know their future will be full of love and adventure! 8/28/12 UPDATE: Christine and Adam's engagement session has been published on Engagement 101 Magazine!!! V + C Engagement Party - Les Petit Maison

Congratulations to V + C... two beautiful women who deserves much happiness! Everyone had a great time at Le Petit Maison. The event was gorgeous with Ted Martinez Event Management, www.tedmartinez.com, planning, designing and executing the festivities perfectly. Many thanks to Ted for reaching out to Angelica Criscuolo Photography so I can have the honor of photographing V+C's surprise proposal! That will be in the next post and yes I'm doing things backwards :-). I'm very glad they also decided to have me capture their engagement party held in NYC with only a few close family and friends in attendance. V + C met through a mutual friend who introduced them and they are grateful to have met and are now planning their new life together. When they walked into Le Petit Maison, the ladies and guests were awestruck with the floral arrangements! I couldn't blame them since I also felt like I was in a fairytale and that was thanks to Ivie Joy Flowers + Events providing the gorgeous floral designs. Proposal in Grand Central's Whispering Gallery E + N

A few weeks ago, I was asked to take part in a secret mission...Now I'm all about secrecy and keeping everything in the "DL" (is that how you say it these days?) and I pride myself in being great at keeping secrets. I'm so good at keeping secrets that I tend to forget what the secret is all about until someone brings it up! Yup, my brain is Fort Knox except I don't know where the key would be after awhile :-). In any case, I was very excited to know that the secret mission had to do with a surprise proposal! Love proposals and love being a co-conspirator! So about our couple, Eugene and Nicole met while working in an Apple store years ago and they have been inseparable since. How cute is that? First working in an Apple store (awesome in itself) then being able to flirt with the cute guy/girl you see almost everyday (that would make sure you're never late going to work!), then going out with said cute guy/girl :-).  Well, after finishing school and finishing law school, Eugene thought it was time to start the next chapter of his life with the only person he could ever imagine spending his life with, and that was Nicole. He definitely wanted to do the proposal at the Whispering Gallery in Grand Central Station. For those who never heard of the area, it is located just outside The Oyster Bar downstairs. When two people stand at the opposite end, you can really hear them speak or whisper as if they were right next to you! I tried it with Eugene right before Nicole showed up to make sure the legend was true :-D. In order to get Nicole to the area, Eugene pretended they were meeting people for dinner at the Oyster Bar. Once she showed up, he mentioned he wanted to try something...and the rest was history. You can see from the pictures the progress of the proposal and let me just say it was one of the best proposal I have seen. As I was taking pictures I was tearing up and made myself stop because I needed to see what I was taking pictures of and make sure everything was in focus!

Congratulations Eugene and Nicole, you two are going to be very happy together I am sure of it and here's to a new adventure!
