Brooklyn NYC Wedding Photography | Queens, NY - Villa Russo | Guadalupe & Roy

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Plummer! A beautiful NYC wedding photography full of memories held at the Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn, New York. With their closest family and friends witnessing their special day, Guadalupe and Roy shared their vows and said their "I Do's." The reception took place in Villa Russo in Queens, NY and everyone got up to dance and sway and just celebrate with the newly weds. It was such an honor to be a part of their beginning and looking forward to sharing more in the future! The couple were off to Costa Rica after the wedding and enjoyed their honeymoon pursuing more adventures.

Here's a must know, all the suits the groom and the groomsmen wore were custom made by the bride's step-father! He's an excellent taylor! The men just looked amazing in their suits.

Marie & Don - Central Park In-Love Couple's Photography

When couples are in love, it just shows through the camera's lens. The way a couple can just be together and forget all about the world is just truly magical, and Marie and Don can teach us all a few lessons in love. They're both from Canada, but NYC and Central Park has a special meaning for them. Don surprised Marie with a trip to New York City when they first started dating. Marie had always wanted to go to NYC and experience what it had to offer so when they can they visit the city. It's hard to get away at times especially when you're running a school back in Canada, but love is patient, love is kind...and love will always be there when it's true as it patiently waits for a weekend of fun to just celebrate life. This couple's in-love NYC photography session was actually a gift for Don, who tends to be behind the camera so there isn't a lot of pictures of them together....what a great gift! I definitely feel the same way! :-) I just enjoyed this session so much and was very glad and thankfully blessed another wonderful client referred Marie and Don to me. To meet them and other couples, enjoying their company, learning their story, and finding out more about how they met and what their life is like definitely makes a full day's work worthwhile. It doesn't even make it feel like work, just all of us strolling through Central Park taking photographs by Bethesda Fountain and Bow Bridge and having fun on a beautiful winters day!  They were actually back in NYC this past Valentine's Day and in a few weeks they're off to Barbados to celebrate their anniversary...Don proposed to Marie at the Crane Resort! Yes, for those that has been following my blog, I was just there shooting a destination wedding...what a small world! Thank you Marie and Don for a fabulous photography session!

Fuerza Bruta - Happy Birthday to Hubby!

Last Sunday was hubby's birthday and as a gift not only did we take him out for dinner and wine at our favorite wine bar in our neighborhood, but I also got him tickets to see Fuerza Bruta. He's been wanting to see this show and since it's about to close, I knew this was the best present for him. It was a great show and the aerial water show was just amazing. The audience took part in the experience and were even able to touch the overhead aerial "pool" where dancers jumped up and down with water splashing above. Everyone was probably wondering whether this plastic contraption holding the dancers up above as well as the water falling from the ceiling will hold or break...I was personally praying it will hold since I was not prepared to get soaked. Oh yes, if you end up standing at a certain part of the floor in the venue...you will get wet. Overall, it was a fun experience, lively, and you couldn't help but feel emotion and just dance to the rhythm of the 1+ hour experience. I brought my handy iPhone of course, so enjoy the instagram experience...I know you're oohing and ahhing over my istagram skills :-).

After the show we headed to City Crab & Seafood restaurant. LOVE lobster...Since it's a special occasion I figured Saturday would be where I can eat a little bit more cholesterol filled meal and tomorrow, Sunday, I'll be good again. I gave up crappy food (junk, pork, beef, coffee, wine/beer/liquor etc.) for Lent....Let's not talk about how silly that all sounds since that would be another conversation regarding my limited meal selection in the next few weeks. Back to today's dinner, we just love it (well not really) when high-end restaurants mess up your order and takes a very LOOONG time to bring your food. We waited the customarily 30+ minutes before inquiring where in the world were our appetizers....At least give us more bread since I'm about to eat my husband. A hungry me is not fun to be around! Ten minutes later our main course arrived...without the appetizers....We were looking forward to the chowder and lobster mac and cheese. The waitress was apologetic and she did forget to order the appetizers so she was willing to give us wine on the house (only for Matt 'cause I still was trying to be good) and give us the lobster mac and cheese as a complimentary meal and an apologetic gesture. OF COURSE we said yes. Last time our food did not arrive was at Sparks Steakhouse in midtown and we pretty much got free wine and all the extra sides complimentary...The moral of the story is...if you're waiting forever for your food, the silver lining is probably free food (maybe not all of it, but something is better than nothing) and getting free wine or drinks is even better! So you may want to hurt someone since you're hungry, but don't worry...if you remain calm and collected, and your approach the manager or waitstaff with your concerns, your stomach will get fed and your wallet may be happier in the end.

Speaking of silver linings, just saw Silver Linings Playbook and it was a very good movie! Go watch it and enjoy.

NJ Wedding Photography | The Villa at Mountain Lakes

Happy New Year everyone!!! Let's start out the year by looking back to the fabulous NJ Wedding Photography of Jennifer and Brandon! Such a gorgeous fall day and the weather was just perfect. The bridal party got ready at The Hilton in Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ. When I got to the bridal suite, the ladies were getting ready, laughing, smiling and having a great time. Jennifer just finished her hair and getting her makeup done. Great time to get detail shots of her Mori Lee lace dress (GORGEOUS!!!) as well as the bridesmaid's floor-length red strapless dresses. The contrast with the bouquets was amazing. Red, gold...just perfect! By the way, when I saw Jennifer's shoes I was just amazed since they were perfect! The men were taking their time getting ready and Brandon just looked dashing in his tux and white bow-tie. The men headed down to the gazebo to escort Brandon for the first look. I escorted the ladies down and I was nervous!!! One of the best moments, I think, is the first look. Seeing Brandon's reaction to Jennifer being dressed up in her beautiful beaded lace dress, he hair in an up-do and all in all looking like a classic beauty. These two are truly a lucky couple. After a few bridal party portraits by a lake by the church in Pompton Lakes, NJ, we were off the Saint Mary's church for the ceremony. Just a beautiful ceremony and reminds me time and time again why I love shooting weddings. As the bride and groom walk out, they were greeted with bubbles in the air blown by the wedding guest.

As the guests and bridal party head to The Villa in Mountain Lakes New Jersey,  everyone was treated to the bride and groom dancing a choreographed dance! "Feels Like Home" by Chantal Krevlazuk was Jennifer and Brandon's first dance song, and looking at them you can definitely feel that they were one with a bright future ahead of them. Everyone danced the night away with a few cigars outdoors for the men, cake for everyone, and love and laughter just everywhere.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Macaluso!!! I am so very happy for you and happy Angelica Criscuolo Photography was part of it all! As part of Jennifer and Brandon's wedding package, they are enjoying their high resolution images by viewing them on a complimentary iPad! To wrap this up and send it in time for Christmas and before I took time off for the holidays definitely made me feel like Santa. Having amazing brides and groom like Jennifer and Brandon and ensuring they, and all our couples, receive spectacular images that capture all the moments that occurs during a wedding day and ensuring our couples become an integral part of the Angelica Criscuolo Photography family is why we were voted by The Knot Best of Weddings 2013...Thank you!

NYC Wedding Photographer|Clark & Richard’s Wedding in Staten Island

I'm long overdue for a post! Here's a few sneak peak from Clark & Richard's NYC wedding in Staten Island New York! They were married at Christ Church New Brighton Episcopal, which is a beatiful church both inside and out and a perfect location for this fall wedding. The attendees came from overseas and out of state, which shows how much Clark and Richard are loved by their family and friends. One of the best part of the wedding was when Clark and Richard's precious K9 companion ran up the aisle to deliver the rings. I can truly say this was one of the best same-sex marriage I've witnessed! After the ceremony, everyone headed to Rick's Cafe located on 695 Bay Street in Staten Island. I personally LOVE going to this restaurant, which is across from my husband's physical therapy office (score!) and conveniently located on Bay Street with amazing food and friendly and helpful owners. Since the wedding was a small intimate gathering of approximately one hundred, this restaurant was the perfect setting. The food was amazing and let's just say we saw many grab seconds :-).

All in all, a great day to shoot a loving couple with their closest family and friends and I'm very happy to have been a part of it all. Thank you Clark and Richard! Here's to a lifetime of happiness!

How exciting! Today, we have many things to be thankful for including this great feature on Merci New York! Tina and Matt's July Summer wedding is featured in Real NYC Weddings Photography on Merci New York. Just a throw back to such a wonderful and fun wedding with many DIY including the bride's customized dress created by her bridesmaid Nam from Nammade, and just remembering the groom serenading his new bride was just too memorable. If you have never been to Chelsea Pier's Pier 60 Sunset Terrace, definitely check it out. Hurricane Sandy aftermath in New York City Queens Sunnyside Woodside

A few images from my neighborhood in Sunnyside/Woodside Queens area. Hurricane Sandy uprooted many trees, which fell on cars, homes, and blocked many streets throughout the area. Hope everyone is keeping safe! Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone without any power, are suffering through the flooding, and more prayers to the men and women and City of New York and other cities and states that are working to help everyone during this natural disaster.

NY Wedding Photographer & NYC Central Park Engagement Photography - Jennifer & Brandon

Here's a sneak peak of Jennifer and Brandon's NYC Engagement Photography session! A Fall/Autumn wedding at The Villa in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey is just what I'm itching for and from what the bride and groom has described of their wedding details, I'm really looking forward to their wedding! Prior to their wedding, we set off for Central Park to take their engagement pictures. With the backdrop and setting, there were just so many engagement photo ideas to choose from! We started at Bethesda Fountain and took advantage of the early morning photography session. We walked to Bow Bridge, then circled around the lake and back to Bethesda Fountain. Such a fun, loving, and made-for-each-other couple and I cannot wait to photograph their New Jersey Wedding in November 2012

New Jersey & NY Wedding Photographer - Royce Brook Golf Club

Congratulations Vanessa and Jermaine! Mr. and Mrs. Codd were married a month ago today at the Royce Brook Golf Club in New Jersey! The day was beautiful and everyone looked amazing. This NY wedding photographer had an easy time photographing the event since everyone was just ecstatic for the love birds and ever so helpful. Vanessa just glowed and Jermaine looked dashing in his suit! As you can see from the wedding photographs, there were also many DIY items and literally eye candy (yummy candy bar!) everywhere! Brooklyn NY Maternity Session & Newborn Photography by Angelica Criscuolo Photography

Congratulations to Pauline and Simeone! They had their gorgeous baby girl, Virginie, and she was such a sweetheart to photograph. I met Pauline on the N train from Sunset Park in Brooklyn, NY heading into the city. She turned to me and ask if I was a photographer. I was carrying gear and looking at images on my Canon Mark III. After I confirmed she smiled and happily said she was pregnant! As you can see, Pauline is gorgeous and tiny and she did not look pregnant at all! We started talking and she hired me to do her NYC maternity photography session in her Victorian home in Brooklyn, New York. We planned on shooting their baby's Brooklyn NY newborn photography session as well. At the time they didn't know if they were having a boy or a girl. On July 2, 2012, Virginie was born! She is such a beautiful angel and was such a good girl. She loved the attention and was comfortable with all the attention. Below are a few images from the maternity and newborn session. Congratulations once again! I am so happy I took that train in that moment since I met such a wonderful couple and gorgeous little girl as a result. Hope everyone enjoys the images! Vanessa & Jermaine's NJ Wedding Teasers!

I'm very excited to share these wedding photography teasers from Vanessa and Jermaine's wedding!!! These two Staten Island, NY love birds had a beautiful ceremony at the Royce Brook Golf Club in New Jersey. Let me just say Vanessa is one cool, calm and collected bride! Nothing frazzled her and she looked amazing! Jermaine was very GQ and I know he enjoyed modeling for me. T&M's NYC Sunset Wedding in Chelsea

Nothing like a NYC summer wedding to photograph to show how much love is in the air. He's from Canada, she's from New York, and together they are the sweetest couple you can meet. With the threat of rainstorms all week, Tina & Matt's wedding was nothing but sunshine...well a lot of it. However, you couldn't tell it was about 90 degrees outside with the way this bridal party carried on. With a bottle of water in each of their hand we set off for Central Park after a touching first look at the Park Central Hotel in Manhattan, New York City. The hotel was busy and packed with tourists, but I found a section that was more calm and had the groom stand there and wait for his bride to come up the stairs. Tina looked amazing in her custom made gown created by one of her bridesmaids Namyoung Park (Nammade). Every detail is very much like the bride's personality and it was no wonder Matt had the reaction he did when he first saw his bride in her gown. After a touching moment, we were off to the Park. I figured start the session inside a tunnel to wean the party towards more sun later on. After this scene, headed to Bethesda Fountain and cooled off underneath the gorgeous archways and ceilings by the fountain. We ended the session at The Mall...However, we lost two groomsmen on the way out of the park, so the ladies decided to get a quick picture by John Lennon's "IMAGINE" tribute. All in all it was a fun photography session, and an even more fun reception! One highlight of the night was the groom serenading his beautiful bride. Yes, he sings and plays the guitar and I can attest to the fact that every woman in the room swooned whether they were already married or not. It was amazing to hear and see and I was very happy to capture it all. Even more amazing was the sunset. The reception took place at the Sunset Terrace in Chelsea Piers and it was definitely a sunset to behold. The backdrop looked amazing and this photographer took advantage of the gorgeous colors. Savannah, Joseph, Sabrina & Sophia's Children Photo Session - Brooklyn, NY

These children are just too remarkable for words! Joanna, thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your children! They are beautiful, sweet, and very precious and definitely one of the best children photography session I have done! We traveled to my old neighborhood by Gravesend in Brooklyn, NY. Specifically we had the session in Marine Park and the location was perfect for what Joanna envisioned. Loved how each of the children's outfits were chosen and everyone was definitely stylish.
