Time Square New York Engagement Photography + Central Park | Giselle + Kelvin

Who doesn't know Time Square in NYC and when you're planning your Destination Wedding in Punta Cana, you might want a contrast of photos to get a more urban city-life feel to your engagement photos! I truly enjoyed capturing Giselle and Kelvin's engagement photos and couldn't wait to share these teasers. We first started the day at Central Park by Bethesda Terrace and by Bethesda Fountain to get that classic NYC feel that Central Park offers. Even with hundreds of people milling about, it just seemed like Giselle and Kelvin were alone in all of Central Park! The way they held each other, and how they interacted with one another definitely felt natural and full of love that whenever they decide to hug or kiss, you can feel the magic in the photographs. After playing with bubbles and me showing these two New Jersey folks around, we headed to Columbus Avenue to ride on the 1 train downtown to Time Square. A few quick photos and we started their Time Square New York engagement photography after a quick change in good ol' Starbucks. By the way, Giselle's makeup artist, Denise Tavarez from Kouture Makeup Designs in Northern NJ & NYC, did an amazing job on her makeup. It was still a hot muggy day during their engagement session and her makeup held up perfectly for their three hour photography session!! After ordering a cool drink, we were off to shoot around Time Square and again, even with the millions of people in this section of Manhattan, it felt like there was no one else but us enjoying the most lit up part of New York City. I love my job and I love meeting and getting to know people. To have met Giselle and Kelvin was an honor and such a breath of fresh air. I am so happy for them and me and my team at Angelica Criscuolo Photography wish you two an amazing future!

New York Grand Central Terminal Engagement Photos + Central Park | Olivia+Matt

As a New York wedding photographer, I do love to travel and capture weddings and engagements in other cities, states or even country! However, NYC is my home and when I meet couples who love my city as much as I do, magic happens! Olivia and Matt have been in NYC for awhile and they showcased their personality and style in their engagement photos perfectly. The classic style and simplicity of how they decided to dress for their New York Grand Central Terminal engagement photos as well as their NYC Central Park engagement photos, really worked with New York City as a backdrop. We started in the wee hours of the morning in front of Grand Central Station and then migrated inside to capture some classic shots. Destination Wedding Photography in Barbados - Kristy + Philip

When it comes to Destination Wedding photography, I am definitely bias since I myself was once a destination wedding bride! Me and my husband were married in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I remember just being online for hours surfing the web doing research, stalking forums on TheKnot.com and Weddingbee.com, but also making friends with many Destination Wedding (DW) Knotties! If it weren't for them I would have been clueless as to how we would plan a destination wedding. As you can see from Kristy and Philip's images below, destination weddings are just breathtaking. The added perks of a destination wedding is that your backdrop tends to have a lot more scenery and bluer than let's say a NYC Wedding. I love being a NYC wedding photographer, but traveling overseas or event to a different state like Florida, California, Texas and more are also so worth it. You get different scenery and you and your guest can make a vacation out of it! So for every couple that decides to have a destination wedding, my heart is just joyful since I know first-hand how they are feeling, what it took to get to this day and time, and how every planning process was just worth it! I have so many friends who did get married overseas in Mexico, Puerto Rico, The Philippines, and more and each one of them stated it was just worth it. Can't wait to go back to one of the islands! Where will we travel to next to shoot an amazing destination wedding? :-) We love to travel especially in winter!

For Kristy and Philip, their wedding was a dream come true. With their closest friends as witnesses, and with family and friends back in New Jersey, New York, California and England feeling the cold weather, this gorgeous couple said their "I Do's" by the cliffs at The Crane Residential Resort in beautiful, warm, sunny Barbados. This wedding was just amazing with so many DIY crafts and eye candy to behold!  The bride and groom did an amazing job planning every single detail of their wedding, from their invitations, to the DIY programs, stationery cards, photo booth, and so much more. They brought in the services of Ivie Joy Flowers & Events who created a wonderful design of fresh flowers in gorgeous vases that just pop with colors. I'm so happy to have been able to escape winter, even if it was only for a short while, and capture this luxurious wedding in this gorgeous Caribbean island. Destination Wedding Photographer in Barbados | Caribbean

Hi everyone! Here's a teaser from Kristy & Phil's Destination Wedding photography in Barbados. This one is after their ceremony as they are walking off literally into the sunset. Going through a lot of images to cull and then edit, but will be worth it. Caribbean destination weddings are just amazing! Can't wait to go back to one of the islands! Queens New York Wedding Photography | Unisphere World's Fair | Michelle & AJ

I first met AJ during his sister's wedding last year, when I captured that same wedding! I love being able to capture multiple family member's weddings so photographing another Fulgado wedding was a blast. This Queens New York wedding photography was held at the same church in Jamaica Estates Queens NY. This time, AJ was waiting for his beautiful bride, Michelle, as a groom rather than a groomsman. In front of their closest family and friends in New York, this Dallas, Texas couple repeated their vows and promised to love and cherish one another for the rest of their days. With the colors of red, black and silver, #TeamDALNY celebrated the day and night away with smiles, laughter and a lot of dancing! The day started at the Marriott Hotel by LaGuardia, and as soon as I walked in I was greeted with AJ and Michelle's beautiful daughter Patricia-Ann. Such a cutie! My hubby/best-assistant ever ended up watching her a bit feeding her a bottle while the women worked :-). She was such a trooper with all the attention and paparazzi going on! After a few photos in the room, we headed to the Immaculate Conception Church in Jamaica Estates and on to the beautiful ceremony complete with the traditional Filipino tradition of lighting the unity candle, coins, veil and cord. After the ceremony, the guests greeted the new Mr. and Mrs. Fulgado with bubbles. After a few more photos in front of the church, the bridal party was off to the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows Park for some amazing shots. Overall, it was a fun-filled time and EVERYONE was dancing the night away to celebrate Michelle and AJ's new beginning!

I just needed to show this teaser from another Oahu Hawaii wedding photography I had the pleasure to capture!!! The wedding took place at the Hale Ohana House's Terrace and the whole day was magical...who cares that hurricane Ana was hitting us since it didn't dampen the wedding!!! NYC Wedding Engagement Photography - Sarah & Brian DUMBO

Sarah Folse and Paul Dochterman are getting married!!! They have set their wedding this year in New Orleans, LA and these two are just meant to be. They met during a Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) event in Baton Rouge and although they didn't actually "meet" they did catch each other's eyes. Brian said that they didn't get a chance to talk, but definitely glanced in her direction many times to get a glimpse of her name-tag! Thanks to an email Sarah sent out of a Chinese coleslaw to all the volunteers after the event, Paul and Sarah were able to correspond via email and later hang out with her showing him around Baton Rouge since he was new to the area. They were inseparable since and grew to know one another. Even with not agreeing to certain things, like all couples do, both of them knew that they had found "THE ONE" when they both realized the other complimented them in many ways and they just truly love one another. The PROPOSAL:

Sarah:  "I had hoped that Brian would proposed before the end of the year, but was convinced I would be able to figure it out.  I am the one who makes most of our plans, so I figured that any hint of him planning an activity would be a give-away for the proposal.  He asked me to make our Christmas dinner plans, and I was disappointed because I took that as a sign that Christmas wouldn’t be “the night”.  However, before we went to dinner, he casually mentioned that he wanted to stop at Grand Central on the way home from dinner, so that he could take some pictures for his mom.  After spending all day drinking wine with a friend and her family, I went along with it, and didn’t suspect a thing.  After dinner, we walked to Grand Central and he spent about 10 minutes taking tons of pictures.  He suggested we go to the Whisper Wall.  As we each went to a side of the wall, he began to whisper to me.  I didn’t realize what was about to happen, so I started making funny noises and jokes back at him.  He got my attention and then said he took me there so that we could have a place to show our kids and grandkids where we got engaged, then got down on one knee!"

Brian: "I proposed to her at the Whisper Wall in Grand Central Station after we went out to dinner in the city on Christmas. I told her that my sister sent me a text asking me if I could take some last minute pics of Grand Central Station & send them to her so she could print & frame some for my mom (she's a History buff) the next day. The last pictures of Grand Central Station I took were of the Whisper Wall. Once I told Sarah I was all done, I suggested we used the Whisper Wall before we left. She stood in one corner & I in the other & then I began whispering as to why I brought her to the Whisper Wall on Christmas. Before she could turn around, I walked to the arch she was at & when she turned around I got on one knee & asked her to marry me. Just so happened that there was a choir in the middle of the four arches who started singing Christmas carols at that exact moment. She thought it was a flash mob I planned. It wasn't though...or was it…"

New Jersey Wedding Photography | Villa Ravello Florham Park NJ

I'm very happy to share some more photos from Gina and Rob's amazing New Jersey wedding photography! It's truly remarkable to be there from the proposal, to the engagement session and now their wedding! Growing with my bride and groom and watching them in their journey, and being responsible to capture that journey, is definitely an honor and something I never take for granted. I still remember Rob telling me the entire plan for the proposal, and to have it transpire without a hitch is very rewarding! Gina was so surprised she called me a ninja...yes that makes me happy. When we did their engagement session in Red Hook and Fort Hancock, it was such a blast and even with getting up early morning to beat the sunrise, it was all worth it. Now, editing these photos and watching two unbelievably kind souls who are meant for one another say their vows, I did sigh MANY times with content to watch them. The Knot Best of Wedding 2014 Best New York Wedding Photographer

What a fun Brooklyn New York Engagement photography session with Abigail and Pat. We first started in Park Slope area where they live and then we walked to Brooklyn's Prospect Park. Before entering the park, we enjoyed a stroll along the Grand Army Plaza. It was such a refreshing day with these two! What a fabulous day to take a few Brooklyn engagement photos. A New York wedding photographer's dream is to have a stylish couple and a great backdrop. I wanted to keep the day using natural light, but in this shot below, I wanted to show the dramatic blue skies that showed off in the distance, which you couldn't see when just using natural light. With how My and Michael were dressed, it called for drama and a contrast to the rest of their Engagement photos shoot in Brooklyn. Exposing for the couple would mean losing details from the clouds. I did try to bring the clouds back, but using off-camera lighting, it was done in-camera.

Brooklyn New York Wedding Photography | Giando On The Water| J+J

When you have one beautiful bride and one handsome groom, you get a beautiful couple and an absolutely beautiful wedding. I LOVE capturing weddings! This Brooklyn New York wedding photography started out in Queens, NY in Middle Village as the bride and groom said their "I Do's" in Our Lady of Hope church. When the bride walked down the aisle, you can see that the groom's eyes were only on his beautiful bride. Witnessed by their closest family and friends, they were pronounced as husband and wife and their new beginning commenced with cheers, smiles, laughter and joy. After a view portraits with the family, we headed to DUMBO and Brooklyn Bridge park to capture some more gorgeous photos. Out of the many brides and grooms taking photos that day, J + J were the most gorgeous! Of course I could be biased :-). I treated the couple (and the videographer!) to a ride on Jane's Carousel and captured the cutest moments. Le sigh! (So when you hire Angelica Criscuolo Photography, everyone gets a free Carousel rides! ha!) A few more shots by the water in front of the Brooklyn Bridge, we were then headed to Giando on the Water for the fun reception. I love this venue! You have a view of the bridges, you get a beautiful sunset, and the food was amazing. The guests enjoyed themselves tremendously and every single photos I took, families and friends were always smiling, laughing, dancing, and celebrating along with the bride and groom.

Nothing beats a fantastic wedding. We're so glad to have been a part of it all!

New Jersey Botanical Garden Engagement Photos | Robyn + Mark

Hello everyone! What a busy and fantastic summer! I couldn't wait to share these photos from Robyn and Mark's fun New Jersey Botanical Garden engagement photographer session filled with sun, laughs, romance, flowers and bloom...well you named it, we got it. When I first drove to New Jersey to meet Robyn and Mark, (Cafe Bene...yum!!) I instantly was drawn to how they both interacted with one another. They really were in sync and you can definitely tell they love and care for one another. As a wedding photographer, that gets me sold each and every time. It doesn't hurt that they got my quirky personality! For their engagement session, these two Maryland resident chose the NJ Botanical Garden, and it was just perfect. We spent a lot of time laughing and sharing stories. What's their story? They both met through a mutual friend (shout out to Kelly!) years before, and started a long distance relationship with Robyn living in Texas and Mark moving to Maryland. I can't say it enough, but when you love someone, you make the long distance relationship work! Robyn eventually moved to Maryland, and they both knew they found "The One" when they realized they wanted to live with one another and that this person is who they want to spend the rest of their lives with.

Fast forward to their proposal, Mark finally asked Robyn to marry her the day of her birthday. Robyn knew what her present was....a new purse! They were off to breakfast, but she asked if she can open her new present. Robyn also loves scratch offs lottery tickets. I mean, who doesn't love scratch off tickets!!?!? That's why we get along. When Robyn scratched off 3 matching diamond ring symbols, she was excited to win either $20 or a grand prize. Mark encouraged her to find out what the winning prize was, and it said "Will You Mary Me."

That's definitely the best scratch off tickets ever!!! Mark definitely deserves a lot of congratulations for this proposal. He knew Robyn wouldn't want a public proposal so he stated that "all my ideas went out the window and had to think of something clever!" Well this definitely is one of the best proposal stories I've heard! I really can't wait to capture their wedding and big congratulations to the happy couple. Until the fall for their New Jersey wedding so stay tuned for their wedding photos!!!

We absolutely love adding on our InstaMemory Booth open-air photo booth to all our New York and New Jersey wedding and event packages!!! Here's a few teasers from Elisabeth & Rob's New York open-air photo booth photos in Aurora restaurant in Brooklyn's Williamsburg. The photo booth was a hit! The props and Mr. Met prop (courtesy of the bride as a gift to the groom who is a huge New York Mets fan!) was used through out the dancing portion of the reception. Even the staff of Aurora took part in the festivities! OK, so we also jumped in the fun since it's definitely a must!

18 Bridal Parties Who Said ‘Hell No’ To High Heels - Huffington Post - NY Wedding Photographer

Congratulations #TeamDALNY Michelle and AJ!!! Michelle and her fabulous bridesmaids are featured on today's Huffington Post! They ditched the heels and opted for Converse! GREAT IDEA and so comfortable. I really envied them the entire day. Not once did anyone complain their feet hurt....:-)
