NYC Queens LIC Engagement Photos with NYPD's Amanda & Kenneth

Check out this teaser from Amanda and Kenneth's NYC Queens LIC engagement photos session. This was such a fun shoot and very happy to have met such a great couple. They are both actually NYPD officers and they left their uniforms at home and dressed up in a different kind of blue. It was actually funny since there was traffic heading to the park and of course we MAY have been speeding a bit so we wondered if we did get pulled over, would the fellow officer let us go since we were photographing not just one, but two police officers! The likelihood of that happening was nil, so we decided to slow down :-). In any case, we had a great time and I'm excited to share these teasers! New York Engagement Photo Ideas Queens LIC | Reena+Jagsheer

I know I haven't been blogging lately, will do more of that in the upcoming months as it "slows" down for this New York wedding photographer, but until then, I'm glad to share these teasers from Reena and Jagsheer's New York engagement photo ideas session in Gantry State Park in LIC Queens! From the start they were both fun, energetic, and just filled with love for one another that they made it a BREEZE to photograph them and capture their personalities! You can see for yourself how this fashionable pair also love to stay fit and work out that they made sure to capture a few shots of them flexing. NYC Surprise Proposal | Engagement | City Hall Park - Alex + Lea

This past weekend I had the pleasure of speaking with Alex who had planned on a NYC Surprise proposal for his beloved Lea! This NYC Surprise proposal took place in City Hall Park, close to where the couple lived. Alex really thought of everything from scouting the area where he planned to propose, and to contacting a friend, John, who kindly sat on the bench Alex planned on taking Lea. So there was John, the bench holder....and of course being a busy Saturday next to the Brooklyn Bridge there were a ton of people milling about and looking at the current art work displayed in the park. Good thing Matt was with me so he strolled to the other side of John and the two chatted away to ensure no one sat on the bench!!! Finally, here comes Alex and Lea...Now it was a very good thing there was an art work display (a mashed up bicycle) just near the bench. This helped me masked the fact that I was taking photos of them strolling towards us, so to the passing eye it just looks like another person taking photos of the art work! I really was concentrating on getting all the angles of that bike (see below)...Of course I really was eyeing the love birds and getting ready for the big moment. Alex in the meantime told Lea they were meeting his Uncle and of course have dinner after.

Everything went smoothly, and with Lea close to tears she said "YES"!!! and we now have a happily engaged couple! So glad to have been a part of it all. Here are just a few photos from their big day! I LOVE capturing proposals!!! I love it even more when the new bride-to-be can't stop smiling the whole time!

NYC Central Park Wedding Engagement Photographer | Tracy & Chris

Nothing like a NYC Central Park wedding engagement photographer's day than spending time at the Ramble for a fun and unique engagement session! Tracy and Chris were so much fun to photograph and really love how they put thought into their photo shoot. Not only did they coordinated their outfits very well, they also brought fun props for the engagement photos! I love props and the "&" sign as well as confetti added to the dazzle of their photo shoot. The two love birds met when they were in High School, but were just friends until they realize their friendship meant a lot more to them.They started dating and finally Chris proposed during Tracy's niece's 4th birthday in front of the whole family. Now Chris is a comedian...literally (www.chrisjcomedy.net), and of course he just had to have a microphone for the event so everyone knew what was going on! Tracy, a teacher, of course said yes and now the two have started a new journey as husband and wife.

New York Wedding Photographer | Long Island | Snapper Inn - Katelyn + Omarr

I'm very happy to share these teasers from this fabulous Long Island, NY wedding held at the Snapper Inn! This New York Wedding Photographer had a blast capturing Katelyn and Omarr's wedding and even giddy being able to share photos so close to their 2-month wedding anniversary! Family and friends witnessed a beautiful ceremony held underneath a gorgeous tree and by the waterfront. A beautiful setting with the sea to the right, blue skies up above, and love all around. Family and friends enjoyed music and dancing and as a witness they were all such a fun group! The only thing that got me nervous was shooting on the pier...'cause this NYC photographer will do anything for her shot, but unfortunately a wrong turn or step on the pier and there I go into the water...and I can't swim! Fear aside, it was just a joyous occasion and we're so honored to have been a part of it all. Brooklyn NYC Wedding Photography | Queens, NY - Villa Russo | Guadalupe & Roy

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Plummer! A beautiful NYC wedding photography full of memories held at the Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn, New York. With their closest family and friends witnessing their special day, Guadalupe and Roy shared their vows and said their "I Do's." The reception took place in Villa Russo in Queens, NY and everyone got up to dance and sway and just celebrate with the newly weds. It was such an honor to be a part of their beginning and looking forward to sharing more in the future! The couple were off to Costa Rica after the wedding and enjoyed their honeymoon pursuing more adventures.

Here's a must know, all the suits the groom and the groomsmen wore were custom made by the bride's step-father! He's an excellent taylor! The men just looked amazing in their suits.

NJ Wedding Photography | The Villa at Mountain Lakes

Happy New Year everyone!!! Let's start out the year by looking back to the fabulous NJ Wedding Photography of Jennifer and Brandon! Such a gorgeous fall day and the weather was just perfect. The bridal party got ready at The Hilton in Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ. When I got to the bridal suite, the ladies were getting ready, laughing, smiling and having a great time. Jennifer just finished her hair and getting her makeup done. Great time to get detail shots of her Mori Lee lace dress (GORGEOUS!!!) as well as the bridesmaid's floor-length red strapless dresses. The contrast with the bouquets was amazing. Red, gold...just perfect! By the way, when I saw Jennifer's shoes I was just amazed since they were perfect! The men were taking their time getting ready and Brandon just looked dashing in his tux and white bow-tie. The men headed down to the gazebo to escort Brandon for the first look. I escorted the ladies down and I was nervous!!! One of the best moments, I think, is the first look. Seeing Brandon's reaction to Jennifer being dressed up in her beautiful beaded lace dress, he hair in an up-do and all in all looking like a classic beauty. These two are truly a lucky couple. After a few bridal party portraits by a lake by the church in Pompton Lakes, NJ, we were off the Saint Mary's church for the ceremony. Just a beautiful ceremony and reminds me time and time again why I love shooting weddings. As the bride and groom walk out, they were greeted with bubbles in the air blown by the wedding guest.

As the guests and bridal party head to The Villa in Mountain Lakes New Jersey,  everyone was treated to the bride and groom dancing a choreographed dance! "Feels Like Home" by Chantal Krevlazuk was Jennifer and Brandon's first dance song, and looking at them you can definitely feel that they were one with a bright future ahead of them. Everyone danced the night away with a few cigars outdoors for the men, cake for everyone, and love and laughter just everywhere.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Macaluso!!! I am so very happy for you and happy Angelica Criscuolo Photography was part of it all! As part of Jennifer and Brandon's wedding package, they are enjoying their high resolution images by viewing them on a complimentary iPad! To wrap this up and send it in time for Christmas and before I took time off for the holidays definitely made me feel like Santa. NYC Wedding Photographer|Clark & Richard’s Wedding in Staten Island

I'm long overdue for a post! Here's a few sneak peak from Clark & Richard's NYC wedding in Staten Island New York! They were married at Christ Church New Brighton Episcopal, which is a beatiful church both inside and out and a perfect location for this fall wedding. The attendees came from overseas and out of state, which shows how much Clark and Richard are loved by their family and friends. One of the best part of the wedding was when Clark and Richard's precious K9 companion ran up the aisle to deliver the rings. I can truly say this was one of the best same-sex marriage I've witnessed! After the ceremony, everyone headed to Rick's Cafe located on 695 Bay Street in Staten Island. I personally LOVE going to this restaurant, which is across from my husband's physical therapy office (score!) and conveniently located on Bay Street with amazing food and friendly and helpful owners. Since the wedding was a small intimate gathering of approximately one hundred, this restaurant was the perfect setting. The food was amazing and let's just say we saw many grab seconds :-).

All in all, a great day to shoot a loving couple with their closest family and friends and I'm very happy to have been a part of it all. Thank you Clark and Richard! Here's to a lifetime of happiness!

How exciting! Today, we have many things to be thankful for including this great feature on Merci New York! Tina and Matt's July Summer wedding is featured in Real NYC Weddings Photography on Merci New York. Just a throw back to such a wonderful and fun wedding with many DIY including the bride's customized dress created by her bridesmaid Nam from Nammade, and just remembering the groom serenading his new bride was just too memorable. If you have never been to Chelsea Pier's Pier 60 Sunset Terrace, definitely check it out. The sunset was amazing to look at and the colors in the background was such an amazing backdrop to photograph. Here's a sneak peak of Jennifer and Brandon's NYC Engagement Photography session! A Fall/Autumn wedding at The Villa in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey is just what I'm itching for and from what the bride and groom has described of their wedding details, I'm really looking forward to their wedding! Prior to their wedding, we set off for Central Park to take their engagement pictures. With the backdrop and setting, there were just so many engagement photo ideas to choose from! We started at Bethesda Fountain and took advantage of the early morning photography session. We walked to Bow Bridge, then circled around the lake and back to Bethesda Fountain. Such a fun, loving, and made-for-each-other couple and I cannot wait to photograph their New Jersey Wedding in November 2012

New Jersey & NY Wedding Photographer - Royce Brook Golf Club

Congratulations Vanessa and Jermaine! Mr. and Mrs. Codd were married a month ago today at the Royce Brook Golf Club in New Jersey! The day was beautiful and everyone looked amazing. This NY wedding photographer had an easy time photographing the event since everyone was just ecstatic for the love birds and ever so helpful. Vanessa just glowed and Jermaine looked dashing in his suit! As you can see from the wedding photographs, there were also many DIY items and literally eye candy (yummy candy bar!) everywhere! Vanessa & Jermaine's NJ Wedding Teasers!

I'm very excited to share these wedding photography teasers from Vanessa and Jermaine's wedding!!! These two Staten Island, NY love birds had a beautiful ceremony at the Royce Brook Golf Club in New Jersey. Let me just say Vanessa is one cool, calm and collected bride! Nothing frazzled her and she looked amazing! Jermaine was very GQ and I know he enjoyed modeling for me. T&M's NYC Sunset Wedding in Chelsea

Nothing like a NYC summer wedding to photograph to show how much love is in the air. He's from Canada, she's from New York, and together they are the sweetest couple you can meet. With the threat of rainstorms all week, Tina & Matt's wedding was nothing but sunshine...well a lot of it. However, you couldn't tell it was about 90 degrees outside with the way this bridal party carried on. With a bottle of water in each of their hand we set off for Central Park after a touching first look at the Park Central Hotel in Manhattan, New York City. The hotel was busy and packed with tourists, but I found a section that was more calm and had the groom stand there and wait for his bride to come up the stairs. Tina looked amazing in her custom made gown created by one of her bridesmaids Namyoung Park (Nammade). Every detail is very much like the bride's personality and it was no wonder Matt had the reaction he did when he first saw his bride in her gown. After a touching moment, we were off to the Park. I figured start the session inside a tunnel to wean the party towards more sun later on. After this scene, headed to Bethesda Fountain and cooled off underneath the gorgeous archways and ceilings by the fountain. We ended the session at The Mall...However, we lost two groomsmen on the way out of the park, so the ladies decided to get a quick picture by John Lennon's "IMAGINE" tribute. All in all it was a fun photography session, and an even more fun reception! One highlight of the night was the groom serenading his beautiful bride. Yes, he sings and plays the guitar and I can attest to the fact that every woman in the room swooned whether they were already married or not. It was amazing to hear and see and I was very happy to capture it all. Even more amazing was the sunset. The reception took place at the Sunset Terrace in Chelsea Piers and it was definitely a sunset to behold. The backdrop looked amazing and this photographer took advantage of the gorgeous colors.
