What a way to start the month of May! Attended the last day of the Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom Festival, which is the end of the month long Hanami celebration of the Japanese cultural tradition of enjoying each moment of the cherry blossom season. The last day of the festival was packed, and rightly so with all the cherry blossoms in bloom. Many dressed for the occasion, and others came as they were ready to picnic and lounge by the orchards.
