What a fabulous day to take a few Brooklyn engagement photos. A New York wedding photographer's dream is to have a stylish couple and a great backdrop. Well here's a teaser from My and Michael's engagement photo session with the Brooklyn Bridge and Freedom Tower as a backdrop. I wanted to keep the day using natural light, but in this shot below, I wanted to show the dramatic blue skies that showed off in the distance, which you couldn't see when just using natural light. With how My and Michael were dressed, it called for drama and a contrast to the rest of their Engagement photos shoot in Brooklyn. Exposing for the couple would mean losing details from the clouds. I did try to bring the clouds back, but using off-camera lighting, it was done in-camera.
